We started in 2014 because the bingo affiliate category was — and largely still is — a wasteland of paid-placement disguised as editorial. We wanted to read a review that told us the actual withdrawal speed, not the headline bonus. We couldn't find one. So we built one.
How we're funded
We earn revenue through affiliate commission: when a reader clicks through to an operator from our site and signs up, the operator pays us a referral fee. That commission does not influence our editorial rankings. We score every operator the same way, regardless of whether they pay us more, less, or nothing.
Some operators offer significantly higher commissions than others. You will find them ranked at every position from 1 to 50 in our test base, exactly as they appear on the editorial scorecard. Two of the operators in our top 10 pay us less than the operators ranked 40th. This is by design.
How we test
Every site we list is tested on a real account. We deposit. We play. We win. We lose. We withdraw. We time it. We do all of this over a minimum of eight weeks per operator. The lead reviewer changes monthly to avoid any one person's preferences becoming structural bias.
We open separate test accounts for each operator with funds drawn from a dedicated testing budget (currently £6,000/year). Winnings flow back into the budget. Losses come off it. We do not test on personal accounts because that would compromise both our objectivity and our players' privacy.

We're an affiliate site. If you click a link from online-bingo.com to an operator and you sign up, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Our editorial scores are not affected by these commissions. Reviewed operators pay differing referral fees; the operator with the highest score is not the operator that pays us the most. We disclose the affiliate relationship clearly on every comparison page.
Editorial policy
We never accept editorial direction or copy from operators. Operators do not see drafts before publication. Operators do not approve scores. If an operator disputes a score, we will publish their position alongside ours — we will not change the score under pressure. We have had three operators withdraw from affiliate agreements over published reviews. We have not changed a score in any of those cases.
