Chris Moyles was the most recent UK celebrity to show off his love of bingo. Although he has not admitted to playing online bingo, he turned up at a bingo hall in Carlisle recently.

The Radio 1 DJ was in the area for a big event and Moyles attended a local hall with his breakfast show team. The bingo hall manager, Charlotte Kennedy, heard about their presence in the area and emailed the producers to see if they would be interested in an evening of fun at the hall.

Kennedy did not expect that it would happen though, and admits that she was surprised when the invitation was accepted. A total of 16 members arrived on the night to play some bingo and enjoy a dinner.

Kennedy said that they played traditional bingo with the books, while Dave and Aled also tried their hand at electronic bingo.

Luck was not with them on the night though, as none of them walked away with the jackpot, but she believes the experience will definitely leave them wanting more.
