Promote responsible gambling

The on and offline gambling industry has been approached to assist the Responsibility in Gambling Trust (RILK) in its ongoing efforts to help treat and educate the public in gambling.
Leaks of the UK Gambling Commission’s Gambling Prevalence study indicate an increase in gambling in the UK, with an associated increase in problem gambling cases.
The Responsibility in Gambling Trust (RIGT) is expected to utilise the results of the study which focusses on problem gambling in the UK to motivate its request for funding.
RILK is seeking an amount of 10 million pounds towards education programmes. While there is a large treatment componant, the Trust wants to try preventative measures to help curb the growing issue of problem gambling and instead promote responsible gambling.
They have approached both the on and offline industry to contribute to their cause financially.
At this point online bingo has not been singled out as a strong contributor to the upsurge in problem gambling.
