If you’ve ever thought of playing online bingo, there’s more incentive than ever it seems as Karen Taylor, 36-year-old mother of three, has catapulted to fame after showing her interest and sending in a picture of herself for a competition.

With the support of her teenage daughters and seven-year-old Sian, Ms Taylor took the leap and entered the fray which led to her being singled out, along with two dozen other finalists, to be flown to London. After the interviews, the contestants were put through rigorous paces as they engaged in some extreme sports that were new to many of them.

The ladies took part in zip-wiring approximately 60 feet and abseiling down cliff faces. Regarding these, activities Ms Taylor said “It’s something I’ve always wanted to try but never have done. The whole experience was absolutely fantastic.” After this excitement, they settled down into the more sedated activity of Cornish pastry making. All of this must have gone well for the Wakefield local as, in the end she was selected from amongst the hopefuls to become the new face of online bingo for the UK.

Ms Taylor’s ad campaign will have the added advantage of being run during one of the countries most popular prime-time soap operas, namely, Emmerdale. The new local star was delighted with the public response and told news sources that she had received a great deal of support from her family in Scotland as well as her friends and colleagues.

Perhaps most importantly of all, however, was the support of her daughters regarding which she stated that: “They think it’s absolutely great that I’ve had this opportunity. My little one, Sian, is so excited. She’s been telling all her friends at school and their teachers.” All of this means a new surge for the bingo industry, inspiring many to read a new bingo review and begin playing online bingo.
