Bingo Game Caller Jailed For Fraud

A bingo game caller at a Gala club has been sentenced to nine months in prison after he was arrested for a bingo scam. Christian Grant, a 29 year old caller from Gateshead, was caught calling numbers that matched the tickets of two of his accomplices, in a scam that resulted in the three fraudsters facing jail time and serious consequences. The group was caught when a Gala player alerted authorities to suspicious number calling he had witnessed, and on investigating the case, the trio went to court where they were found guilty and sentenced.

Christian’s accomplices, Samantha Temple and Nandi Ndebele, were sentenced to community service, while Christian as the ringleader was given nine months of jail time. As to how Christian managed to pull off this scam, it emerged that the Random Number Generator machine can be set to manual, and this is how Christian managed to call numbers that matched his friend’s cards.
