Another Bingo Hall Robbery Shocks Community

Yet another crime has occurred at a bingo hall, this time in the parking lot of the Bingo Palace in Grand Forks, North Dakota. In an incident that rocked this sleepy US town to its core, a woman was robbed at gun point as she was getting out of her car when arriving at her local hall. Grand Forks Police Sgt.

Bill Wyatt stated that the middle-aged woman was getting out of her car in the parking lot of the Bingo Palace when a man came up behind her, grabbed her shoulder bag and told her that he was taking her purse. When the woman tried to defend herself, the assailant knocked her to the ground and took off with her purse before jumping into a nearby car and driving away.

“We are still looking for witnesses,” said Sgt. Wyatt, who went on to say that no similar robberies had occurred in the area. The women was uninjured, but is said to be traumatised by the event. She reports that the suspect is a white male between 5ft8 and 5ft10, medium build, wearing dark clothing and a baseball hat.
